Terms of service for organisations

Version 0.1 · 28 September 2026 · These terms apply to organisations that contract with AGXII. Country supplements will be added as AdresX is offered in more countries.

1. Agreement

These terms apply when an organisation ("you") uses AdresX, provided by AGXII Intelligence & Investigations Ltd ("we"). An order form or pilot agreement can add to these terms, and it prevails if they conflict.

2. The service

AdresX includes the API, hosted verification links, the AdresX app, webhooks and certificates. During a pilot the service is provided as is, with no service levels unless the agreement says otherwise.

3. Access keys

We issue API keys with defined scopes. Keep them secret, use each only for its purpose, and tell us at once if one is exposed. You are responsible for what is done with your keys.

4. Your use

  • You must have a lawful basis to ask your customers to verify, and give them the notices and choices the law requires.
  • Do not resell or white-label AdresX without our written consent, and do not copy data in bulk or interfere with the service.
  • Do not put location codes, coordinates or phone numbers where they are not needed. Webhooks carry status only.

5. Decisions are yours

A level and a certificate are evidence, not a legal determination. You decide how to use them and you must follow your own regulator's rules, including KYC rules. We will help you map levels to your policies, but the decision is yours.

6. Data protection

Each party will comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act and related rules. The roles of each party for the personal data involved will be set out in the agreement. Data is stored on servers in London, United Kingdom. Our hosting and SMS providers act on our behalf. You can ask us to delete an address record and we provide an erasure function for that.

7. Security and incidents

We protect data with access keys, encryption in transit and hashing of phone numbers. If we learn of a breach affecting your data we will tell you without undue delay.

8. Fees

Fees, if any, are set in the order form. A pilot may be free, and we will tell you before charges begin.

9. Confidentiality

Each party will keep the other's non-public information confidential and use it only for the agreement.

10. Ownership

We own AdresX and its rules. You own your data. We may use anonymous, combined statistics to improve the service.

11. Warranties and liability

To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that the service is uninterrupted or error free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount stated in the agreement, or to the fees paid in the previous 12 months if none is stated. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Term and ending

Either party may end the agreement by written notice. On ending we will stop access and, on request, delete your data.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction.
