About AdresX
We are building the way to prove where someone lives or works, at a stated level of confidence, on any phone. We are starting in Nigeria and building for Africa and developing countries worldwide.
Why
Many people and businesses have no formal address. Banks, lenders, delivery companies and public services still need to know where they are. A code alone does not prove anyone is there. Evidence does.
What we believe
Private by default
People share their address on purpose. Nothing is browsable.
Works on any phone
Smartphones, basic phones and trained agents all have a place.
Works with national systems
AdresX sits alongside codes such as the NIPOST postcode and does not compete with them.
Where we are
- A closed beta is live at adresx.org, with tested code, a hosted verification link, signed certificates and a USSD flow tested in a sandbox. The Android app is in closed testing.
- We have registered our interest in integrating with the NIPOST national postcode and are testing against its test environment. That is not a partnership.
- Prototype code grids already exist for Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia and India. Each country will need official boundary data and local partners before launch.
- Pilots are being arranged. There are no live customers yet.
Who builds it
AdresX is developed by AGXII Intelligence & Investigations Ltd (RC9202669), part of the Agent-X Group, which builds security and intelligence software in Nigeria. AGXII is registered with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC/DCP/10797).
