Beyond banking: address proof for critical services

Anywhere a wrong or missing address costs money, time or safety, address verification adjacent to AdresX's core engine can help. Sectors below are shown as fit, not as customers: AdresX is in closed beta with no live deployments in any of them yet.

Status: these are directions we believe the engine is well suited for, based on the same levels, evidence and certificates used for banks. None is a current pilot or customer.

Healthcare

Confirm a patient's home address for outreach visits, immunisation records or home-based care, without an extra form to fill in.

Utilities and connections

Verify the address before a water, power or fibre connection is installed, so the crew that shows up finds the right building.

Telecoms and SIM registration

Support address verification for SIM registration, alongside the identity checks operators already run.

Social protection and cash transfers

Confirm where a beneficiary actually lives before a welfare or cash-transfer payment is tied to that address.

Emergency and ambulance dispatch

A verified code cuts through vague directions when minutes matter.

Humanitarian and NGO programmes

Map and verify households in a distribution area with consent, using the same agent-confirmed evidence built for rural pilots.

Why the same engine fits

None of this needs a different product. A verification level, a signed certificate and an evidence trail are useful wherever "is this address real, and how sure are we" matters, not only in banking. The privacy model stays the same too: coarse and precise access are separate, and consent drives every capture.

What would need to change

A public sector or programme deployment would need its own privacy impact assessment, its own hosting and data-residency decisions, and its own agreement on who can see precise locations. None of that is built yet. If you represent an organisation in one of these areas, we would build it with you, not assume it.
